I had so much fun photographing this sweet girl’s Harry Potter themed birthday party! Her family is one that I have been photographing for several years. They are kind and generous and really pretty special. I always love my sessions with them. I was so excited to hear they wanted Miss Mimi’s 8th birthday party photographed and even more excited to hear the theme was Harry Potter! My kids LOVED Harry Potter when they were this age. I have so many fond memories of them dressing up and as the characters and acting out the scenes from the movie. Seeing all the kids so enthusiastic and in to Harry Potter really brought back memories.
The party was held in their lovely home and was adorably decorated. I walked through Platform 9 3/4 to get inside. Everything was so cute, right down to the snacks and cake! The kids were dressed as their favorite characters, they made potions, did the sorting hat, and most of all had so much fun being together!
I love, love documenting kid’s birthday parties. There is always a lot of laughter and fun and the moments captured are real and in the moment. Thank you! Thank you!
