I last photographed this family when George, now 2, was about 6 months old. I remember their session well. We had it in their lovely home and beautiful, park like yard. I was so excited to hear they had added a new little guy to their family and wanted me to come document their first moments together as a family of 4. Newborn photography sessions are my favorite!
Grant was 4 weeks old for his newborn photography session which is a little older than most of the newborns that I photograph. Older newborns can be a little harder to photograph. They are typically more awake to the world and have started to figure out what they like and don’t like. Grant was an angel! He slept peacefully and when he was awake he was quiet and content. I don’t think I heard him cry until the very end of our session. I have a feeling he is going to be a pretty laid back guy. And let’s not forget about big brother George. He is adjusting to his new role quite well. He was so sweet with his new brother. I am not surprised though. Their parents are patient and loving. They make having 2 under 2 look easy.
I really enjoyed seeing them all again and getting to capture this special time in their lives.
