I say this a lot but my favorite part of my job as a family photographer in Eugene, OR is the relationships that I form with the families that I photograph. They are more than just my clients, they become friends that I look forward to seeing each year.
I met this family, last summer when Penny, was just a few weeks old. I just adore them. It didn’t take me long to see that Penny is pretty lucky to have such amazing parents. I have enjoyed getting to know them and photograph their most special moments together. Last fall I got to meet both of Penny’s grandmas for her 100-day celebration. It was beautiful and so fun to document. Not to mention the amazing food that I got to try! It was special and was a reminder why I love my job so much as a family photographer in Eugene, OR.
This session was all about celebrating Penny turning 1! She is so much fun! When she greeted me with her big happy smile, I knew our session was going to be fantastic! I was right, it was perfect. She was taking a few steps at her session in early August. I am guessing she is all over the place by now and doing it all with a big grin! At the end of her session, Penny changed into her Hanbok. Hanbok’s are traditional Korean dresses that are worn on the 1st birthday. And even more special, her mama wore a Hanbok. They were so beautiful together. This was also a first for me. I loved it so much! These photos will be so special to have when Penny is older.
I LOVE, LOVE my job as a family photographer in Eugene, OR. I get to document so many sweet moments and give families something that they will have as a memory forever. It really is pretty amazing and I am grateful.
