Last fall I photographed more seniors than I ever have in part because I have my own senior this year and that means a lot of his friends and classmates have reached wanting me to photograph their senior portraits. It has been so much fun! I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to spend time with these amazing young adults. They really are pretty awesome and give me so much hope for our future.
This is Will, a Eugene senior from South Eugene High School. He and my son have gone to school together since kindergarten. I remember him way back when I used to volunteer in the elementary classroom and now he is all grown up and talking about college! He had just found out he got into the college that he applied to on the day of his session. Time goes so fast!
We had Will’s Eugene senior portrait session at a new location for me, Golden Garden Park in Eugene. Will suggested it and I am so glad he did. I am always up to try out new locations. Golden Garden Park is beautiful even in December, which was when we had Will’s senior session. There is an area near the water, beautiful big trees that still had some color and a cool bridge. I can only imagine how colorful it is in late October when the leaves are their most vibrant. I will definitely be coming back next year!
I mentioned how much fun I have photographing all of these seniors. I really do! In the short time that I am photographing them, I feel like I really get to know them. Will made it pretty easy! He is quite the character and so funny! He had me laughing though out his entire session. I told him that his session just might have been my favorite one yet! I definitely laughed the most.
