I photographed a lot of Eugene, OR senior portrait sessions this past fall, maybe more than I ever have. I have thoroughly enjoyed talking with each and every one. Senior portraits are so important! I never quite understood the value in them until this year, having my own senior. It is a special time. These kids are on the brink of adulthood, ready to set off in the world. If you are on the fence about having senior photos, do it! I promise you won’t regret it.
This is Hunter, a senior from South Eugene High School. He is another senior that I have known for quite a while. He and my son played club soccer together for several years. He is a great kid! We had his session at Elijah Bristow State Park. It was the first time I have had a photo session there and I will definitely be coming back. We had his session in late November. I was surprised to see that there was still quite a bit of colorful leaves. I can only imagine how beautiful it is in October when the leaves are their prettiest in Eugene. Elijah Bristow has an area near the water that is breathtaking. It is a favorite spot for Hunter and his family which made the session even more special. I love getting to explore new locations!
Hunter brought his beloved family dog Sprocket along for his session. I always encourage my clients to bring their family pets. They are members of the family and should be included. The photos of them are treasures. His mom was along for the session and I convinced her to get in a few photos. I am so glad she did! These are the photos you won’t regret taking. You will never look back at photos of you with your child and wish you hadn’t taken them.
I have so many favorites from this Eugene, OR senior portrait session. I am sharing a lot!
