There really isn’t anything sweeter than photographing new love. This lifestyle newborn session could not have been more perfect.
When I book a lifestyle newborn session I put your due date on my calendar, knowing that newborns have their own timeline. My son was almost 2 weeks late and my daughter, a little over a week early. Knowing that newborns come when they come, I always make room in my calendar for newborn sessions. I was pleasantly surprised when I got the message that this sweet guy, Colin, came a couple weeks early. He was just a little over a week old for his lifestyle newborn session and was so teeny tiny and you will see very cute!
When I photograph newborns, I have somewhat of an agenda but really let the newborn lead the way. If they need to be fed or soothed or are simply happier being held, that is what we do. I don’t have a set time limit, taking as much time as needed. I want this to be a fun and relaxing experience, capturing all of your sweet, first moments together.
Colin was a perfect model for his lifestyle newborn session. When we started he was wide awake. I was able to capture his bright, curious eyes and sweet faces. He seemed to be happiest in his parent’s arms. He pretty easy going and really didn’t make much of a peep and when he did he calmed down very quickly. I have a feeling he is going to be a pretty easy going guy. I love so many of his photos especially the ones with his cute hands. He has the most expressive hands! His parents were amazing and clearly completely smitten. It is pretty special getting to document that love and I am grateful.
