About Me

I am an on-location, natural light, custom photographer. I specialize in newborns, babies, children, and families. Photography is my passion. I love the feeling I get from both looking at photographs and taking them. I have memories of looking at old photo albums of distant relatives as a child. I was completely captivated by them. These were photographs of my great- great grandparents as children. I felt a connection to them. They gave me a story of who they were. I am so grateful to have these photographs for myself and to share with my own children. I cherish them.

I have a Masters degree in Elementary Education. I taught 1st grade prior to becoming a mother. I love children of all ages. I love their innocence and wonder, their ability to be real and natural without even trying. Children see the world as an exciting adventure. They have the ability to appreciate the little things in life that we take for granted.

I am a mother to 2 amazing and spirited children. They are why I decided to pursue photography as a profession. I experienced first hand how quickly they change and grow. I found myself wanting to capture all their everyday moments. Their giggles, toothless grins, tears, and triumphs. They are now almost 6 and 8. I treasure the photographs I have of them. They inspire me and help me continue to grow as a photographer.

I think photographs are one of the greatest gifts we have. They capture special and sometimes very simple moments. They allow us to remember. My goal is to create photographs that reflect your true spirit. I hope to give you a memory you will have forever.
