Just one of my girl playing in the meadow… I love the simplicity of it.

This was a quick session. This almost 4 year old is always on the go and really doesn’t stop! I was happy she did for a few moments because she sure is a cutie pie!

I keep finding more favorites as I go through this session. I thought these girls would look amazing on a storyboard. These are great! You pick the photos, I create a custom storyboard or collage. This is a 30×15. They come mounted on wood and ready to hang! Very simple and modern.

I had a fun session with this beautiful family! The weather was sunny and warm! This is 6 year old Miss “C”. Such a pretty girl and so easy to photograph!
3 year old “A” took a little while to warm up… once we started to look for To To from the Wizard of Oz she became much more open to the idea of having her photos taken! I love this shot… didn’t I say this family was beautiful!
I love this playful moment I caught!
We’ll have to send this one to Dorothy
Thanks “S” family! It was lovely meeting you. I look forward to going through the rest of these! I will be in touch!

This morning I had the pleasure of photographing 5 day old Baby Chase! This was a special session for me. Chase’s mommy and I lived together in college. I am pretty sure the last time we saw each other my almost 9 year old was a toddler… It was great to see her and meet her cute family. Chase has 2 big brothers that were full of energy and smiles! I am just starting to go through these and wanted to share a few…
I think he might have the cutest, button nose that I have ever seen!
Pretty good eye contact for 5 days old!
His mama ordered this hat from Etsy! I love it!
Thanks for a nice morning! Can’t wait to show you the rest!

Recently, I was telling someone I had “small children”. After I saying it out loud that I realized I don’t really have small children anymore. At almost 9 and almost 7, they are hardly small children anymore, they are just children I guess. It is bittersweet for me. I love that they are completely capable and more and more independent but I wish sometimes I could freeze them. They are growing up so fast. They have their opinions and questions and are becoming these amazing little people. It is just happening so fast.
They inspire me as a photographer. If it weren’t for them I don’t know that I would have discovered this passion I have. They are truly amazing! Thank you Elijah and Ayva.
They are like typical siblings… it’s either really, really good or really, really bad! Fortunately, when it’s good, it’s GREAT!
